BigTipper and currency symbols
Some BigTipper users have been puzzled about how to control the display of particular currency symbols in BigTipper’s displays.
Examples:
• $ (Dollar, used in North America) • € (Euro, used in Europe) • £ (Pound, used in the UK) • ¥ (Yen, used in Japan)
Solution:
BigTipper formats its currency displays based upon your iPhone's International Settings. For instance, to use dollar signs: run the iPhone's Settings application and choose a country which uses dollar signs, such as “United States”.
Settings -> General -> International -> Region Format
Use the same procedure if BigTipper is displaying $, and you want €, £, or ¥. Just choose the country which uses the currency you want to view. |
